  Hillary Duff is eager to shed her bubbly girl next-door image by portraying a sexy raunchy role in her upcoming flick War, Inc. The Lizzie McGuire star plays a slutty pop star in John Cusacks film.

In a recently released teaser of War, Inc. Hillary is seen playing with a deadly scorpion and later shoves down it down her pants.

But Duff was apparently hesitant to play a pop singer in fear of being typecast.

Duff says, He (agent) was like, ‘I got this script, John Cusack wrote it. And I was like, ‘Really? That’s awesome; I love John, Duff said.

But then he says, ‘But you’d have to play a pop star.’ And I was like, ‘Oh nooooooooooo. I don’t want to play a pop star. I don’t want to sing!’ ”

“Nobody thought I could do anything different. It was tough for a while. I was stuck in this bubble of Hilary Duff, and no one was really taking a chance on me.

So I was like, ‘I’ll just make the record, because I’m not going to do another movie like that.’ I wanted to challenge myself or not do it.”

Lets see how the movie and Duff’s slutty role turns out to be.

The latest promotion clip of Hillary’s upcoming flick War, Inc.. shows the Disney Princess pushing a Scorpion down her pants and squirm in pleasure.War, Inc. is a dark war political satire set in Turkistan, a country occupied by an American private corporation run by a former US Vice-President (Dan Aykroyd). The Corporation CEO hires a troubles hit man (John Cusack) to kill a Middle East oil minister in ordered to monopolize the opportunities of the war-torn nation. The troubled assassin has to undergo many problems to complete his mission which includes organizing the high-profile wedding of Yonica Babyyeah (Hilary Duff) an outrageous Middle Eastern pop star, and keeping a check on a sexy left wing reporter (Marisa Tomei).

Scorpio and Duff, a real treat for the eyes.

Hillary Duff is grateful to Disney, coz she raised to fame through Disney’s show Lizzie McGuire. When Hillary was asked to do a cover of the renowned Mickey Mouse March for a Disney mobile promotion, she was glad to say yes.

Duff was naturally excited about the offer, “The Mickey Mouse March was such a classic song, you know, so many people know it.  And I feel it’s kind of like an anthem song when you hear it,”

You know, it’s kind of stuck in your head for a very long time.”

Duff conceded that she was honored to sing a new version of a song that has been sung millions of times since ages,  ”I was kind of in a way honored just to get to do a new version…kind of my take on it that’s up to date where you music is now but it’s such a traditional song.”

Hillary Duff, who is the ambassador of Disney Mobile Japan, must be a busy girl these days, with her face splashed on large hoardings in every nook and corner of Japan. Disney Mobile Japan had been launched in Japan with much fanfare, backed by their telecom operator partner Soft Bank Mobile, and with teen idol Hillary Duff as the campaign face.

Since Hillary Duff is the darling of all teens worldwide, and the way they look up to her. I guess with her Disney Mobile will have a huge turnover this year.

In what could be a seen as a significant snub to Hilary’s acting skills her movie “Material Girls” has been voted the worst movie of all time on imdb.com’s bottom 100 list and that too only after 6 days of release.

“Material Girls” stars Hilary and her sister Haylie who play the roles of rich and spoilt children whose lives take a when a scandal and the resultant investigation strips them of their wealth.

As of press time the film is getting an awful 1.6 rating with 814 votes.

In the era of open and hard core sibling rivalry we have some who believe that their girl-sibling is above all others.Hilary and Haylie Duff are sisters and best friends. That’s why working on the film “Material Girls,” which opened Friday, was more fun than it was work. “Working on set together makes it much easier, because we have each other there for moral support,” Hilary said. “We just have a lot of fun together.” “We’ve grown up so close our whole life,” added Haylie. “We’re best friends and we have been forever.” They agreed that they could be direct with one another in a way they couldn’t with other actors. “We would be able to say to each other ‘I need more of this’ or ‘you need to give me more of that,’” Haylie said. “You can’t say that to another actor,” laughed Hilary.

Like most siblings who are close in age, Hilary, 18, and Haylie, 20, have a few little pet peeves about each other. “We always, will be, like, waiting (for) each other,” said Hilary. “I feel like I’m always waiting (for) her.” “Or, like, we fight about who’s gonna drive,” offered Haylie. “You always want to drive. Why?” said Hilary, turning to her big sister. “Because I’m a better driver,” said Haylie, matter-of-factly.
“She thinks she’s a better driver,” said Hilary.
Haylie is known to film audiences for her role in the off-beat comedy “Napoleon Dynamite.” Her television credits include “7th Heaven,” “Joan of Arcadia,” and “Boston Public.”

In addition to acting, Hilary has released four albums as a singer. Her 2005 album, “Most Wanted,” debuted on the Billboard 200 albums chart at No. 1. Hilary, who turns 19 on September 28, plans to gradually take her career in a new direction, looking for edgier roles and more mature music.
