A few ages ago Hillary had said, “I’m not scandalous. I think it’s actually embarrassing to be in those, yet some people will do anything to be in those magazines. I’m happy with who I am, and I’m happy with the way people portray me. If it’s too normal, than that’s their opinion.”

  Teaser of Hillary’s latest movie War, which shows her shoving a Scorpio down her pants has worried parents of her little fans. Her slutty role has set the warning bells ringing for protective parents who think Hillary will set a bad example on their young daughters.

It was just like yesterday that Hillary had said that she wouldn’t disappoint her young fans by doing dark and bad roles. She also revealed that she had turned down a role of a pregnant girl with drug problem because it was too dark.

“I just feel like there’s so much time for that. I think there are actresses who want to get so far away from what people thought they were like or that they can do. It’s just shocking to me because you’re still so young. When I’m 25 or 30, I want to have some place to go and something I’ve never done. Now I think I can start to challenge myself and do different things that aren’t for such a young audience, but I think it’s important not to completely abandon them.”

But then think who would want to shove a Scorpio down their pants? At least I wouldn’t.

  Hillary Duff is eager to shed her bubbly girl next-door image by portraying a sexy raunchy role in her upcoming flick War, Inc. The Lizzie McGuire star plays a slutty pop star in John Cusacks film.

In a recently released teaser of War, Inc. Hillary is seen playing with a deadly scorpion and later shoves down it down her pants.

But Duff was apparently hesitant to play a pop singer in fear of being typecast.

Duff says, He (agent) was like, ‘I got this script, John Cusack wrote it. And I was like, ‘Really? That’s awesome; I love John, Duff said.

But then he says, ‘But you’d have to play a pop star.’ And I was like, ‘Oh nooooooooooo. I don’t want to play a pop star. I don’t want to sing!’ ”

“Nobody thought I could do anything different. It was tough for a while. I was stuck in this bubble of Hilary Duff, and no one was really taking a chance on me.

So I was like, ‘I’ll just make the record, because I’m not going to do another movie like that.’ I wanted to challenge myself or not do it.”

The Corporation CEO hires a troubles hit man (John Cusack) to kill a Middle East oil minister in ordered to monopolize the opportunities of the war-torn nation. The troubled assassin has to undergo many problems to complete his mission which includes organizing the high-profile wedding of Yonica Babyyeah (Hilary Duff) an outrageous Middle Eastern pop star, and keeping a check on a sexy left wing reporter (Marisa Tomei).

Scorpio and Duff, a real treat for the eyes.

Duff feels that it is good to be financially secure and it gives her a nice feeling that she can take care of herself and people around her.

The Australian magazine, Dolly, recently interviewed Hillary Duff. Duff scraped some of her past history for the interview, and talked about her feud with Lohan and her first love Joel Madden.

Duff said, “Lindsay Lohan and I fell out when we were 13 and didn’t like each other, because we were dating the same guy — pop star Aaron Carter.”

“I was seeing him, then she dated him and then we got back together and he was seeing us at the same time. How was I supposed to know he was dating her too?”

She was accused by Lohan of stealing her man, but the feud is the thing of past now.

Duff quoted, “Now we are fine. We see each other, but we are into different things,”

Duff also revealed she is glad that she got rid of her first love Joel Madden, “It wasn’t like there was a big blow-out fight, or one of us had cheated…He was my first love but I definitely feel happier now that we’ve broken up.”

Who wouldnt be happy to leave Joel Madden for a boyfriend like Mike Comrie.

“And if you don’t like the way you look or feel insecure, when people say things about you — in magazines or just in everyday life — they can be hurtful…But you’ll never make them happy”.

Well for a girl like her who so very comfortable with the way she looks I don’t think she should even bother to respond to such talks.

She is one of the hottest young stars around, who had a spectacular metamorphosis from a cute-girl-next-door to the steamy hot pin-up girl, you would want to kill for. According to a source Duff said: “I don’t have anything against people who have surgery. If I get older and feel uncomfortable about something then maybe I will have it. I never say never… Some things are hard to deal with for a woman as you grow older. I think everyone should be able to feel good about themselves…I don’t like it when it’s really obvious and gets pointed out. Some people go overboard…I do worry about what I look like but I’m not going to let it control my life. If I want to go to the shops I’ll sometimes not bother with my hair or make-up.”

Ahaan… So Ms. Duff… Older as in??? She seems to be smart with words, doesn’t she?

The year 2008 is really lucky and busy for Hillary,as she has 3 movies lined up for the year. Her world tour for her album Dignity and designing a new line of accessories for her clothing label, Stuff by Hillary Duff has all kept her busy 24/7.

The actress is not complaining about her busy schedule, “It’s crazy, but actually, keeping this schedule has taught me a lot of tricks about what to wear when I need things to be easy. I now have outfits that are both unique and quick that I know will absolutely work no matter where I’m going - I love that,” said Hillary.

She also revealed her design plans for her clothing label, “I’m very particular about the structure, texture, and detail of all my clothes. My favorite pieces are ones that steer away from the norm, at least a little bit, and I like things that have some drama.”

Hillary’s new perfume called Wrapped With Love Hilary Duff Eau De Parfum Spray for Elizabeth Arden is also in the pipeline, says Duff, “This new perfume is lighter and sweeter than my last one. I wanted the scent to seem springy, like when you first throw on a sundress in warm weather and feel really girly.”
